Best Motivational Books

04/01/2019

Now I don't know about you, but I love a good self-help/motivational/self-improvement book (whatever you want to call it!). I find reading books like this helps to inspire me, put things into perspective and motivate me to be the best version of myself. I think feeling good emotionally is an important part of nursing and reading books like this help with my wellbeing. I also think these types of books are great because you can dip and in of them if you want or keep re-reading them (as I do) and gaining something new from them each time. I've listed a few of my favourites below but if anyone else has any recommendations I'd love to hear them!

  • Susan Jeffers - Feel the fear and do it anyway
  • Katie Piper - Confidence
  • Matt Haig - Notes on a nervous planet
  • Christine Hassler - 20 something 20 everything
  • Fearne Cotton - Happy
  • Nicholas Epley - Mindwise
  • Dr Steve Peters - The chimp paradox
  • Persia Lawson & Joanne Bradford - The inner fix
  • Ruby Wax - Frazzled
  • Susan Jeffers - End the struggle and dance with life (anything by her is amazing in my opinion!)
